Prairie Coteau is a small family owned vineyard and winery located 4 miles West of Lake Okoboji, IA and 5 miles East of Lake Park, IA specializing in the production of boutique wines produced from cold-hardy French – American Hydrids. Our journey has been inspired by our desire to grow French – American Hybrid grapes, make great wines and restore a small piece of Iowa farmland to its native prairie grasses and wildflowers.
